Alien Fresh Jerky – Online Store Shopping Policies [UPDATED: SEPTEMBER 19, 2005]

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

UNCONFIRMED SHIPPING ADDRESS POLICY

This document serves to inform you (the customer) about how we conduct our business online. It is meant to make clear what our policies are regarding certain aspects of the online store, such as shipping, returns, refunds, etc.

1. Product Pricing & Availability

Alien Fresh Jerky™ / Alien Fresh Jerky Online Store reserve the right to change, without prior notice, the availability status and pricing of all products on the website. We cannot guarantee product availability at all times. If you purchase a product that is listed as available when it is really not available, we will do our best to notify you of the situation and give you an approximate date for which the product may become available again. We do our best to inform our online customers through the website about the availability of products.

 

2. Order Processing

PLEASE ALLOW 24 TO 48 HOURS FOR US TO RECEIVE THE ORDER. The orders are made through PayPal (https://www.paypal.com). We do not receive nor keep any credit card information from our online customers. We only receive the orders and get them out.

Once we receive an order, it takes a minimum of 24 hours to process. We will always ship what we have from the items ordered. Once we get the items that were not available, we ship them as soon as possible. In the future we will be providing some more shipping options, such as the option for next day delivery, etc.

We process the orders in accordance to the order received from PayPal. We also provide a packing slip, which we use as a checking list, to make sure that all products are shipped.

3. Shipping & Handling

Once received, depending on product availability, it can take anywhere from 24 hours (sometimes less) up to 2 weeks or more* for product shipment. If you have not received any kind of confirmation or products within 14 days of placing an order, please contact us and provide the order / receipt # / transaction ID from PayPal, and we will look into the matter.

We assure you that we handle all products with very much care. HOWEVER, once we transfer product responsibility to the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, et al), we can no longer guarantee product quality / integrity. We do, however, insure all of our online orders for the amount of the order (excluding shipping cost), for which you may claim should a product be received in a bad condition (i.e. broken / leaking glass jars, etc.).

All orders are shipped via USPS - Priority (3-Day) Service, unless otherwise specified. We do currently ship to P.O. Box / A.P.O / F.P.O addresses. Please refer to our shipping options section for more shipping options.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PST
Saturday & Sunday: Orders are received and processed the following Monday
morning.

 

4. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

NOT ALL FRESH BEEF JERKY IS FOR EVERYONE. Please make sure that you choose a product that you have previously tried / tasted, and that you have a pretty good idea of what it will taste like. The Premium Sweet & Spicy is not for everyone, and is only recommended if you have previously tried it and liked it.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT OPENED / USED MERCHANDISE. WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ACCEPT UNOPENED MERCHANDISE THAT IS MAILED BACK (AT CUSTOMER’S EXPENSE) FOR EXCHANGE OR REFUND, WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE RECEIPT OF MERCHANDISE (VERIFIED BY CARRIER DELIVERY CONFIRMATION / TRACKING INFORMATION). Upon receipt of such merchandise, for unopened merchandise there is a 15% restocking fee that will be applied, and the replacements will be shipped to the customer (shipping & handling costs to be paid by customer).

WE DO NOT SHIP TO UNCONFIRMED ADDRESSES. YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS MUST BE CONFIRMED BY PAYPAL IN ORDER FOR US TO SHIP THE ORDER. IF YOUR ADDRESS IS NOT CONFIRMED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PLACING THE ORDER, WE WILL REIMBURSE YOUR ORDER AMOUNT MINUS A 15% PROCESSING FEE.

ORDERS MUST HAVE A VALID, PAYPAL CONFIRMED ADDRESS AS WELL AS YOUR FULL NAME AND A CONTACT NUMBER. IN ORDER FOR YOUR ADDRESS TO BE A CONFIRMED ADDRESS IT MUST BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CREDIT CARD BILLING ADDRESS YOU PROVIDED. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED.

UPDATE - MARCH 8, 2007

WE DO NOT SHIP TO ANY OTHER ADDRESS THAN THAT SPECIFIED BY YOU, THE CUSTOMER, TO PAYPAL, SINCE IT WOULD BE OUTSIDE OF THE PAYPAL SELLER PROTECTION POLICY AND IT HELPS PREVENT FRAUDULANT PURCHASES. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

 

5. Online Specials

3 x $20.00 Special

The 3 x $20.00 special applies only to the fresh jerky, and to the flavors that appear on said page. Periodically, we may add or remove flavors from this page. Orders that we receive before the changes, but are shipped after the changes, they will be shipped respecting the previous setting (i.e., if someone orders buffalo jerky today, and tomorrow it's removed from the 3 x $20.00 special, we will still ship the order as it was received).

PLEASE DO NOT MODIFY THE QUANTITY OF THE 3 X $20.00 SPECIALS IN THE PAYPAL CHECKOUT DIALOG. DOING SO WILL VOID YOUR ORDER. WE WILL REFUND YOUR ORDER AMOUNT, MINUS A 15% PROCESSING FEE. THE PROCESSING FEE IS WAIVED TO ORDERS VOIDED THAT WERE PLACED ON OR BEFORE WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, 2005.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE FLAVORS / OPTIONS IS COMPLETED, IN ORDER TO EXPEDITE YOUR ORDER. THANK YOU.


*NOTE: Only if we are out of stock on a product it may take that long to ship out. However, it usually takes an average of 48 hours to ship the products out once an online order is received.
