Our journey began in 2000, when Luis Ramallo, along with his wife and eldest son, opened the first shop in Crystal Springs, Nevada. With the goal of providing road warriors with healthier snacks, we started by selling a variety of items, including beef jerky, nuts, trail mixes, dried fruits, stuffed olives, and honey12. The picture to the right was taken January 1st, 2004.
Our store has grown significantly, starting from a modest sales area of less than 500 square feet to a massive 4800 square foot building, complete with storage. We are proud to say that Alien Fresh Jerky has become a beloved pit stop for hundreds of thousands of travelers every year, thanks to our commitment to offering quality snacks and a fun, kitschy theme.
